This is the first internal focusing, internal zoom for any medium format system. In addition to the world renowned PE coatings incorporated into the lens, it contains aspherical elements to correct for any possible distortions associated with zoom lens design. The minimum focusing distance is one meter, throughout the focal range. The magnification ratio is 1:4.9 making it a nearmacro lens. The 100-220 focal range makes it the ideal studio, catalog and portrait lens.
