Mid-range EOS camera. Manual metering, aperture and shutter priority AE, Intelligent Program AE with shift, and Flash AE (A-TTL and TTL, OTF with dedicated flash).

Metering patterns: 6 zone evaluative and 6.5% partial. LCD metering display. Exp. comp., auto bracketing, AE lock in partial meter mode, dedicated hot shoe.

Shutter speed range 30 sec to 1/4000 plus B, flash sync at 1/250, self timer. Auto DX ISO range 25-5000 with manual override (manual ISO range 6-6400).

Auto film advance (3fps) and rewind, multi-exposure capability, interchangeable focusing screens, interchangable body grips (GR-20 standard).

Recommended Flash: 300EZ, 420EZ, 430EZ. Backs: Quartz Date Back E, Technical Back E. Remote switch 60T3 used with optional GR-20 grip. Optional GR-10 grip also available.
