The Canon Macrophoto Adapter MA-52 allows Canon FD lenses such as the 50mm normal lens with a front filter ring of 52mm to be reversed for mounting on bellows or extension tubes for better results in photomacrography.

The Adapter is 5mm in length, and has no helical extension. When lenses are reversed, the use of the Canon Macro Hood is recommended to facilitate the use of manual diaphragm control. Otherwise, the Canon Macro Auto Ring and Double Cable Release should be used for automatic diaphragm operation.
