Well known for the effect of eliminating undesired reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, windows, etc. Also highly effective for color photography as colors can be made to appear brighter, clearer and with better contrast.

For black and white photography, the effect is the same as with the Y(K2) and 0(G) filters. Provides an infrared effect when used together with a R(25A) filter.
