I've been happy with all the 50f1.4 Nikkor-S lenses that I've owned over the years. Prefer the single coated S version to the multicoated SC version. My current 50f1.4 is a factory AI'd version (what KEH calls a 50f1.4 S NPK AI lens). Works great on every Nikon body I've used...
