1979-80 (2-MS76) Pentax K bayonet lens mount. Scaled down version of the ME, similar except the MV has: reduced shutter speed range, no shutter speed info in VF, no self timer, no motordrive or autowinder capability. MV Specifications: * Manual focus. * TTL metering, SPD metering cells. * Aperture priority AE metering only. * Center weighted metering pattern. * LED display in VF * AE compensation: +/- 2 stops (not actually a dedicated dial, but it can be accomplished by referencing special markings on ISO film speed dial). * Dedicated hot shoe and PC sync terminal. * Newly designed, electronically controlled, vertical moving metal blade shutter by Seiko. * Shutter speed range: 1sec - 1/1000 plus B. * No shutter speed dial for manual shutter speed selection, however... * Mechanical shutter speed settings: 1/100x and B. * Flash sync at 1/100. * ISO film speed range: 25-1600, set manually. * Manual film advance and rewind. * Mechanical cable release socket. * VF info includes flash ready signal, slow exposure warning (yellow LED), overexposure warning (red LED), adequate exposure signal (green LED), battery check lamp. * Stop down metering possible.
