Congratulations to our Top Pic of the Week, Glenn Haggis. He captured these amazing photos. Read below for more on his photographic process.

Using a Nikon F100 with a 50mm 1.8 lens loaded with Porta 160,Glen shot this beautiful portrait of his wife, Gill, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I live in Johannesburg , South Africa and like many photographers I started by just documenting my family (in other words in my own backyard).  I mainly shoot candid head and shoulders portraits, but over the years I’ve come to photograph just about anything  I find interesting. I just recently started shooting analog film and I am head over heels in love it.  It’s partly the process and the unique look of film I love.

We were at small cafe, made our order and then Peter Magubane the award-winning  press photographer serendiptiously joined and chatted about projects he is currently busy with. Two of us had the opportunity to take has portrait. Nikon D600 50mm f1.8 at 1/160 sec. The raw file was edited in Lightroom with slight adjustments to the highlights and shadows.

Thank you for allowing us to feature these beautiful images. Check out more of his photos below. Follow him and Instagram and his website.
