Congratulations to our Top Pic of the Week, Jesse Poynter!  Lying down on the freezing ground with her Pentax S II DSLR with an 18-55mm kit lens she captured A Windy Night In Indy. Read more about her journey below.

Ever since I was 5 years old, you could find me sporting my little Crayola® Flash 110 film camera. Now at 25, my childhood fondness for photography has grown into a passion and a career. I have been a professional photographer for 5 years now.

I graduated from Purdue University in May of 2015 with a major in Photography & Related Media and a minor in Printmaking.

I am currently on the hunt for the right graduate school program for me and would like to be a professor of art someday. I am most passionate about Filmmaking and photo silkscreen based printmaking.
