Matt Day's capture is our Top Pic of the Week!

Matt shot this amazing portrait of his cousin, Nolan, to celebrate his senior year of high school. Some might say senior photos tell the story of one's whole high school career. It is a representation of what you have accomplished. From the looks of this photo, Nolan is heading in the right direction!

This shot was taken in Downtown Chillicothe, Ohio. He used a Nikon D750 with a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4G. He used 1 light, the Flashpoint Xplor 600 with a Westcott Rapid Box OctaXL attached. The exposure was 1/4000th of a second.

Matt's go-to tripod for photos is the MeFoto Globetrotter, however he doesn't use photo tripods very often. When he isn't taking photos he uses his Benro S8 head for shooting videos.

Do you enjoy taking portrait photos? Here's a quick post production tip from Matt-

Don't overdo it. Subtle can be very strong.

Do you know anyone needing amazing senior portraits? Matt Day is your go-to photog! Congrats Nolan, for accomplishing this major milestone! KEH Camera wishes you the best.
