Congratulations to our Top Pic of the Week, Roy Barnett.  He captured breathtaking images of his model, Caitlin.

Roy tested out his new Mamiya DM22, purchased from KEH Camera to capture these photos.

This was the first time shooting with the camera outdoors and I wanted to learn how it responds and its character.  Every camera has a distinct personality.  So I wanted to learn how it "sees".

In a beautiful park in Denver, Colorado he shot with his Phase One DF and Mamiya DM22 using a 80mm Schneider Kreuznach LS. All natural light was used in the production of these photos.

Capture One has a massive learning curve, but it's worth it.  Regarding retouching I think it's important to not overdo it.  People should look real in my opinion.  If it's temporary (acne and such) remove it.  If it's permanent, leave it.

Consume as much creativity as you can.  Be it photography, painting, music, etc.  I think your experience of the world comes through whatever you create.
