A3000 features include: - Built-in motordrive for auto film advance (1.5 fps), manual rewind. - Auto DX coding for ISO film speed input. Box-like camera design, sharp corners. Motor in right side bulge that acts as hand grip. Must be used with new (at that time) SMC Pentax A lenses (KA) modified with electrical contacts for full body/lens communication in Program AE metering mode. K mount (SMC-M) lenses can be used, but only in Aperture Priority AE mode.
