Description

The Canon EOS 100-300 f5.6 L Macro lens is an ideal lens for all Canon-based photographers. Despite front-group focusing, external rectilinear zooming, and an orthodox design, this telephoto lens has gained a loyal following due to its high optical performance. A synthetic Florite element is incorporated in lens group 1 and a UD element is in group 3. They effectively correct the secondary spectrum prone to occur in the longer focal lengths. The lens provides high-contrast, sharp, well-defined images. At the minimum focusing distance of 1.5 m, a postcard can fill the viewfinder (maximum magnification of 0.26x) at the 300mm focal length.
