The B40D-LA L-Bracket is custom fit for the Canon 40D Digital SLR Camera body with BG-ED3 grip. Custom-made one-piece bracket machined from light weight 6061T6 aluminium. Allows full access to all switches and battery drawers. In the words of a professional landscape photographer, it also allows for fast change from horizontal to vertical composition and vice versa without having to adjust your tripod and/or tripod head, while maintaining lens and viewfinder to eye-level relationship. Helps protect the camera body like a truck grill guard. Keeps the weight of lens and body over the tripod's center of gravity.
