The Leica 16-18-21mm f/4 Tri-Elmar-M is a super wide-angle variable focal length lens for Leica M-Mount rangefinder cameras.  With a 107° maximum angle of view it's is the widest lens made for Leica M-mount cameras.  With three focal lengths in one compact package this Tri-Elmar provides the functionality and convenience of a zoom along with the assurance of shooting on optics that are truly optimized to the maximum extent.  The 16-18-21mm is one of only two variable focal length lenses for Leica M (the other being a 28-35-50mm Tri-Elmar).

The rugged all-metal barrel on the Leica 16-18-21mm was designed with two aspherical lenses to produce sharp images with minimal distortion and gorgeous color rendering; making it ideal for architectural photography inside and out.  The design keeps the lens compact at just 54x62mm (2.1x2.4in) and 335g (11.8oz), so there is minimal obstruction when looking through the view finder.

Choose between 16, 18 or 21mm with by twisting the on-barrel focal length ring and view your entire scene with the optional Universal Wide-Angle viewfinder with adjustable frame lines.  With a maximum f/4 aperture and minimum focus distance of .48m (1.6ft) across all focal lengths, you can achieve a remarkable depth-of-field and astonishingly sharp imagery.
