Description

The Multifunctional Handgrip M was designed by Leica specifically for their M digital rangefinders to expand the function of the camera as well as increase grip and support for one-handed shooting and to help support the use of heavier lenses.

Attaching to the baseplate of a Leica M digital rangefinder, the Leica Multifunctional Handgrip M provides a dedicated SCA port to use flash while still using an externally attached viewfinder (or other accessory) in the camera's hot shoe. Along with this port, the handgrip also contains a DIN/ISO-X sync socket for studio flash, external power socket, and a USB port for direct connection with a computer via Leica's Image Shuttle software.

To write location information to EXIF data, the Leica Multifunctional Handgrip M includes a GPS module.
