The economical and versatile Mamiya TLR system has for years been a favorite of pros and enthusiasts alike. Due to Mamiya TLR camera's long-focusing bellows and the 55 f4.5's ability to be focused a mere 3 inches from its subject, there's no need for special attachments when you're in the mood for close-ups. The widest of the available Mamiya TLR lenses, it's also a great choice for group, architectural and scenic shots.

Mamiya lenses for twin lens cameras were available from 55mm to 250mm. 80mm was the normal (standard) focal length. Most lenses in the later models allowed for the winding crank to cock the shutter.
