The Leaf Aptus 22 is a high end professional digital back for medium format cameras.  This version is designed to mount to Mamiya 645AF and Phase One series camera bodies.  It's 16 bit A to D (Analog to Digital) images processing is able to capture thousands more shades of gray and millions more colors than common 12 bit or 14 bit cameras.  With a sensor twice the size of the 35mm format the Aptus 22 the photographer to leverage the superior optics available for medium format.&nsbp; Legendary 645 lenses from Mamiya Sekor, PhaseOne, and Schneider Kreuznach deliver the very best contrast, color, and the shallower depth of field that makes up the 'medium format look'.  A slight 1.16 crop factor ensures images come from the optical sweet spot of a lense.
