Say "Minolta," and most people will probably respond, "Maxxum." But prior to 1985, the year that the Maxxum, the first fully integrated autofocus camera was introduced, Minolta already had a loyal following of admirers who were fans of their SRT series cameras. These dependable, solidly built, all mechanical cameras were produced from 1967-1977 and as a testament to their quality, many are still in use today. The SRT 201 is one of those models still favored by shooters and a welcome island of simplicity in a sea of complex electronics.
