The 28mm employs Nikon Integrated Coating (NIC) multi-layer lens coating process that ensures each glass-to-air surface of the optical elements within the lens coated according to their respective reflective index to provide an optimal photographic results. The lens also features close range correction system to maintain exceptional image quality over the entire focusing range when used at its respective minimum focusing range.
