Kenko 3.0x Teleplus Pro 300 AF-S teleconverter is designed specifically for prime telephoto lenses of 50mm or higher - works best with 100mm or higher. The Teleplus Pro 300 extends your lens reach by x3.0. It is chassis with precision high-quality multi-coated optical glass to improve light transmission and prevent reflections. It also maintains signal integrity between the camera and the lens. The converter is versatile allowing use with telephoto and prime lenses.
Manufacturer's Note: Not recommended for zoom lenses with a beginning range under 50mm. Due to the 3 stop light loss inherent in a 3x converter, Kenko PRO 300 3.0X has no AFcapabiltiy. The lens must be focused manually. The converter has all the circuitry for aperture activation and metering.
