Description
Nikon F Standard Prism is precision and versatile manual focus single reflex lens camera delivering ease and speed of handling. The Nikon F was Nikon's first SLR featuring interchangeable viewfinders and focusing screens. The Nikon F is fully manual with incredible toughness and reliability. The finder field coincides perfectly with the film area, thus covering 100% of the image photographed. The Nikon F accepts three interchangeable finders, 14 interchangeable focusing screens and backs. The Nikon F series, the most rugged and reliable cameras made and noted as the camera that changed the direction of modern photography. This design was the first SLR to offer an optional battery-powered motor drive and optional perspective control 35mm lens. It is easy to identify because the pentaprism has a large "F' on its face and has no light meter built into the prism.
