The 3.0x Manual Focus Teleconverter is designed specifically for prime telephoto lenses of 50mm or higher - works best with 100mm or higher. The teleconverter extends your lens reach by x3.0. It is chassis with precision high-quality multi-coated optical glass to improve light transmission and prevent reflections. It has a Prong that will meter couple to older Nikon 35mm SLR manual focus cameras such as the Nikon F, F2, and Nikkormat FT, FTn and FT2. The converter is versatile allowing use with telephoto and prime lenses.
*Not recommended for lenses wider than 50mm.
