Nikkormat ELW, 1976-78. Non AI lens mount. (1-PX28) Exactly the same as the Nikkormat EL except the ELW can accept the optional auto-winder AW-1 for auto film advance (2 fps). Full aperture TTL match-needle manual and aperture priority AE metering. AE lock, center weighted metering pattern (60/40), needle meter display, hot shoe, PC sync terminal, shutter speed range 4 sec to 1/1000 plus B, flash sync at 1/125, self timer. ASA range 25-1600, DOF preview, shutter speed info visible in viewfinder, mechanical shutter speeds: B and 1/90. Available in black finish only, very few made. Nikkormat EL can not be converted to ELW.
