Innovative DFD technology increases the speed of Contrast AF. Venus Engine is equipped with quad-core CPU that enables high speed signal processing. DFD technology shortens the time to focus, thus providing ultra high auto focus speed of approximately 0.07 per second. As the world's first DSLM camera to record 8-megapixel 14K videos, it truly meets the needs of professional photographers.

The GH4 magnesium alloy body and rugged design is tough enough to withstand the heavies filed use. Its main structure is composed of magnesium alloy full diecast front and rear frame. Its design features splash and dust proof construction via sealing on every joint, dial and button.
