Description

This type of lens allows you to get a wider view than the typical “normal” lens. This refers to 35mm or digital full-frame cameras. These range in focal length from 24mm to 35mm. 35mm focal length is very nice for scenic and group portraits such as a wedding. The 24mm range will give you double the width of a 50mm lens. With all wide angle lenses, you should try to keep the angle of the camera level against the horizon. If you don’t, there can be distortion. In addition, you should check your flash specifications to insure that the flash will cover this wide angle range.
