Pentax A3000 35mm Camera Body
1985- (2- AA) Pentax KA bayonet lens mount. Pentax A3 outside North America. Most basic of the A-family cameras with Aperture and Program AE only, no manual metering. Program AE includes Program Auto Flash, but it is not TTL. A3000 features include: - Built-in motordrive for auto film advance (1.5 fps), manual rewind. - Auto DX coding for ISO film speed input. Box-like camera design, sharp corners. Motor in right side bulge that acts as hand grip. Must be used with new (at that time) SMC Pentax A lenses (KA) modified with electrical contacts for full body/lens communication in Program AE metering mode. K mount (SMC-M) lenses can be used, but only in Aperture Priority AE mode. A3000 specifications: * Program AE, aperture priority AE metering modes only. * Center weighted metering pattern. * LED metering display in VF. * Exposure compensation: 1.5 stop back light compensation button. * Dedicated hot shot. * Electronically controlled, vertical moving metal blade shutter by Seiko (MFC-E6). * Shutter speed range 2 sec - 1/1000 plus B. * Flash sync speed: 1/60 * Manual shutter speed settings: 1/60 and B only. * Five position control selector dial: Battery check, Lock, Program, 60x and B. * Self timer * ISO/ASA film speed range: 25-1600, Auto DX or set manually. * Built-in motordrive, auto film advance (1.5 fps), manual rewind. * VF info includes limited shutter speed range, slow speed warning, overexposure warning, flash ready signal. * Mechanical cable release socket. Dedicated flash: AF280T, AF200T, AF400T.
