Softening of super-critical definition producing striking fluffy halo-effects, especially with back-lighting. Best results are obtained by using the entire surface of the Rolleisoft, i.e., at full aperture. With Rolleisoft 1, it is permissible to stop down to F/5.6. Smaller apertures tend to decrease the soft focus effect.
