Tamron Adapt-A-Matic 300mm f/5.6 is one of three telephoto lenses with adapatall swappable mount system. The Adapt-A-Matic lenses were designed for Nikon F, M42, Miranda, Minolta MD, Canon FC and other mounts of the late 1960s and early 1970s. The 300mm f/5.6 employs four elements in two groups optical construction, nine aperture blades, 2.5 meter close focusing distance, 8° angle of view, 62mm filter thread, built-in lens hood and built-in tripod mount. The lens also features metering prong capabilities for older Nikon F mount cameras (i.e. Nikon F, F2, and Nikkormat FTn).
