Voigtlander Prominent II was one of the most sophisticated cameras of the 1950s. The Prominent II is a precision 35mm rangefinder featuring interchangeable lenses and leaf diaphragm shutter. With its unique appearance, this camera is among the best mechanically and optically designed rangefinder systems. Offering Synchro-compur shutter with speeds of 1 second to 1/500th second and a combined brilliant-frame view- and rangefinder displaying the subject in full natural size. Superimposed brilliant image frames outline the limit of field of views from the focal distances 1-3/8" (35mm), 2" (50mm), 4" (100mm) and 6" (150mm).
