Minolta answers the call! In 1973, not wanting to be left out of the pro market, Minolta responded to Nikon's F2 by creating the XK. Marketed internationally as the X1, it was designed as part of a full system, which included the new, specially designed Rokkor-X lenses. The XK became the basis for Minolta's future generations of electronic cameras and today has a loyal following of fans who appreciate its durability, fine craftsmanship and performance.
