• Why is selling to KEH better than listing on eBay or Craigslist?

• What happens if I change my mind?

  No harm, no foul. We’ll ship you back your gear, at no cost to you.

• How do I determine which condition to choose for my gear on the online estimator?

  If you’re not sure, don’t worry, we’ll inspect your gear to assess its condition once it is sent to us. In the meantime, in general most of the gear we receive falls under the “Excellent” grade. We suggest you look up the quoted value for multiple condition grades, so you can see a range on which to base your expectations. For further reference, we list our standards for our grading system here.

• What are my payment options?

  When you sell (or trade) your camera gear to KEH, you can choose between two simple and flexible payment options — a Trade Voucher or a Digital Cash Payment. 
  In both cases, payment is issued by email shortly after you accept your offer. 
  And regardless of which option you choose, you can still take advantage of manufacturer trade-in bonuses available through KEH. 

  1. Trade Voucher 

  Choosing a trade voucher gives you the best overall value for your gear. 
  You’ll receive your full appraised offer value plus a 5% KEH bonus to use toward KEH Certified™ Pre-Owned gear. 

  You can also use your trade voucher to trade up to the latest gear from your favorite brands and take advantage of any active manufacturer trade-in bonuses, including those available exclusively through KEH. Simply call a KEH Certified™ Pro at 1-800-342-5534 to apply your manufacturer bonus to your new gear purchase. 

  Your trade voucher will be delivered via email and can be redeemed: 

  • Online at KEH.com

  • Over the phone with a KEH Sales Specialist

  • In-store at our retail location 

  To apply your trade voucher toward a purchase with a manufacturer trade-in bonus, orders must be placed by phone at 1-800-342-5534. For added convenience, you can save your voucher to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for easy access anytime. 

  More Details about Trade Vouchers: 

  • One-time use with automatic reissue: Each voucher is single-use, but if you don’t spend the full amount in one transaction, a new voucher will automatically be emailed to you for the remaining balance. The 90-day redemption window restarts with each new voucher. 
  • 90-day validity: You have 90 days from issuance to use your trade voucher. After that, any remaining balance, other than any remaining trade bonus, will be converted to a cash payment. 
  • Redemption order: The appraised value of your gear is applied first when redeeming a voucher. The bonus amount can only be used once the full value of your gear has been applied. 
  • Cash option: You can exchange your voucher for cash at any time and receive the remaining balance of your gear’s appraised value. Any unused bonus will be forfeited when opting for cash.  

  2. Digital Cash Payment

  You’ll receive a secure KEH payment email from our financial partner Dash Solutions ([email protected]) shortly after accepting your offer.  

  Follow the link to verify your identity and access your funds. It’s fast, secure, and private (no sensitive information required). 

  You can: 

  • Keep funds on your digital payment card, or

  • Transfer instantly and free to your preferred account via debit card, ACH, PayPal, or Venmo.

  • Prefer paper? Request a check by mail for a small fee. 

  Funds can also be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet with one click. 

  Even if you choose cash instead of a trade voucher, you can still participate in manufacturer trade-in bonuses when purchasing their latest gear through KEH. Simply call a KEH Certified™ Pro at 1-800-342-5534 to apply your manufacturer bonus to your new gear purchase during the promotional period. Orders must be placed before the manufacturer’s trade-in bonus expiration date. 

• How do I trade?
