The Canon EOS Kiss Digital N is an entry level digital SLR camera first introduced in early 2005.  It continues to be a popular model with photography students and enthusiasts as an affordably priced relatively large sensor DSLR that accepts a nearly unlimited range of lens options.  The Kiss Digital N is the successor to the best selling original EOS Digital Kiss.  The Kiss N offers significant improvements including an all new 8 megapixel sensor, greatly improved flash metering (E-TTL II), faster and longer burst shooting, near instantaneous start-up time, independent focus and metering mode selection, flash exposure compensation, 2axis white balance shift & bracketing, improved controls, improved menus, 9 custom function, separate RAW+JPEG files, and a more compact lighter body.

The Kiss Digital N was also marketed as the Canon Rebel XT in the Americas and as the Canon EOS 350D in Asia, Europe, and Oceania.  In 2006 Canon released a follow-up: the Kiss Digital X.  Also available in Silver
