Description

Multi-mode, integrated motor drive camera. First Contax camera to offer the Automatic Bracketing Control (A.B.C.) feature, available in the Program AE, Shutter and Aperture Priority AE Modes. Program AE (with High and Low Modes), Aperture and Shutter Priority AE, Manual metering, TTL flash metering, center weighted averaging and spot metering, LED meter display, AE exp. compensation, AE lock, auto bracketing, dedicated hot shoe, PC sync terminal. Quartz controlled electronic shutter speed range: 16 sec to 1/4000 (in all modes) plus B (manual only), X sync at 1/125. Self Timer. ISO range: 6-6400 when set manually. Auto DX range: 25-5000. Auto film advance (3 fps) and rewind. Interchangeable focusing screens (FU series), removable back, body grip, DOF preview, electronic shutter release (use L series Cable Switch for remote firing), top data panel. Backs: Data Back D-7. Requires MM lens for proper function in all metering modes, however, non-MM lenses (AE) will mount and can be used with limited metering capability. Shutter Priority and all Program Modes will function as Aperture Priority Mode. Manual and Aperture Priority Modes will operate normally.
