The Hasselblad 50mm F/4 CF T* Lens is a wide angle lens designed for the Hasselblad V System of medium format film camera bodies. It features Zeiss's famous T* multi-coating which help protect against flare and ghosting, maximizing contrast and color even in challenging lighting condition. The lens is very well built as well as being durable. It feature an FLE (Floating Lens Element to maximize sharpness at closer focusing distances) adjusted via a ring with 4 settings (infinity to 4m, 4m to 1.2m, 1.2m to .8m,.8m to .5m).

Shutter speeds range from 1 second to 1/500th of a second in one stop increments, as well as B (Bulb for longer exposures) and and F focal plane shutter setting for use with 2000 and 200 series cameras. Users should always make sure they can see through the lens prior to mounting it on a camera.

A PC flash sync socket is provided. Depth of Field Preview is facilitated by an aperture engaging switch on the lens barrel. Lens and aperture combinations are arranged to permit selection of equivalent EV exposure values by holding a button and making a single adjustment.

Well suited for all-around wide angle applications such as landscape, architectural and interior photography, the 50 f4 CF T* will also admirably handle any large wedding group portraits you might encounter this season. Constructed incorporating Hasselblad's Floating Element (FLE) design, a second focusing ring allows for the adjustment of the front element group for optimum image quality in four different focusing ranges in the distances from 19 inches to 13 feet (0.5 - 4m).
