The Hasselblad PM90 is a 90° eye level prism viewfinder for the Hasselblad V System. Unlike a 45° finder the PM90 allows viewing directly in-line with the lens direction for eye-level positioning of the camera. The 90° low profile viewfinder offers a large, high eye-point eyepiece, making it suitable for users with eyeglasses. Its 2x enlarged unreversed covers the entire focusing screen. Interchangeable diopters are available separately that allow correction strengths from -4 to +3 diopters.
Hasselblad V System users looking for a 45 degree prism or integral diopter adjustment should consider a PM45
The PM90 has a curved profile designed to closely fit next to the shape of Hasselblad V System 120 and 220 roll film backs. Since it covers a film back's release button, the PM90 has it's own mechanism (a slider accessible from the left or right side) for actuating the film back's release button. Because of it's curved rear profile PM90 cannot be used together with Magazine 70, Magazine Polaplus for polaroid film, or digital backs that don't have a curved profile that matches a Hasselblad film back.
