This 3X telephoto zoom lens was produced by Nikon between 1984 and 1998. Its single focusing/zoom ring provides extra-fast handling. Macro focusing at 100mm setting enables close focusing to 2.3 feet. Ideal for sports, photojournalism, wildlife, and general purpose photography. Aperture range of f/5.6 - 32. Uses optional screw-in type hood HN-24 and hard case CL-40.
