Description

The Nikkor 200mm f/2 IF-ED is a high-performance lens employing Internal Focusing (IF) enabling the lens elements to move inside the lens and prevents movement of the lens barrel as the lens is focused closer. The incorporated ED lens element holds chromatic aberration to the absolute minimum, providing excellent resolution throughout the entire aperture range. The 9-blade diaphragm creates a clear circular aperture rendering beautiful bokeh effect. The lens focuses down to a mere 2.5 meter with a max magnification ratio of 1:9.2. The lens has 360° rotatable tripod socket promoting quick and secure change from horizontal to vertical orientation. It also has a built-in telescopic bayonet-type lens hood. This lens is suitable for low-light conditions, concert photography, subject-isolating portraits and more.
