Description

Nikon states the AF-S Nikkor ED 200mm f/2G ED IF is an optical masterpiece for long range shooting. The AF-S VR Nikkor ED 200mm f/2G ED IF is a high-performance lens employing Vibration Reduction (VR), high-speed Internal Focusing (IF) and Silent (S) Wave Motor technology. The 200mm allows shooting at shutter speeds approximately 3 stops slower than normal without VR, expands the available shutter speed options and enables easier telephoto shooting without a tripod. The incorporated three ED and one Super ED lens element promotes sharp photos virtually free of color fringing. The 9-blade diaphragm creates a clear circular aperture rendering beautiful bokeh effect. The lens focuses down to a mere 6.2ft with a max mangnification ratio of 0.12x. This lens is suitable for low-light conditions, concert photography, subject-isolating portraits and more.

Fast f/2.0 capability allows subjects to be given more emphasis by throwing background further out of focus
Exclusive SWM (Silent Wave Motor) enables ultra-high speed autofocusing with exceptional accuracy and powerful super-quiet operation
