Three ED (Extra Low Dispersion) elements and a Nano Crystal coated element help deliver state of the art optical performance with breathtaking sharpness, contrast and color with minimal abberation. Nikon's VR (Vibration Reduction) technology helps minimize camera/lens shake improving sharpness, a significant concern when working with longer focal length equipment.
