Nikkor-S 50mm f/1.4 AI one of the most widely used is standard prim lens in all of photography. The Auto Indexing (AI) lens meter couples to all Nikon cameras developed in 1977 and later manual focus Nikon bodies. The 50mm lens is compact and versatile lens suitable for portraiture and an array of photographic applications. It has sharp optics that can compete with modern lenses and is fast enough for shooting in any type of light. The lens produces distortion-free images with superb resolution, contrast and color rendition. The 50mm lens employs optical construction of seven elements in five groups, 46° angle of view, 2 feet close focusing distance and 52mm filter thread.
