Nikkor-S 55mm F/1.2 AI'D is a bright, standard prime lens. It employs one of the fastest lens speed in its group. At full aperture, the lens has a pleasing contrast and sharpness. The lens features seven element in five groups optical construction. The lens has 43° viewing angle, 2 feet close focusing distance producing 1:9 magnification ratio and 52mm filter thread. The Nikkor 55mm f/1.2 is suitable for photographic applications such as snapshots, landscapes, candid, electronic flash photography and much more. Its f/1.2 makes this lens excellent in low light conditions.
