The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH5 is a Micro Four Thirds system camera designed with high quality video production as a primary goal. The GH5 also offers extensive still photography abilities; it's a truly multi-media story telling tool.
The GH5 was introduced in early 2017; it's the replacement for the Lumix DMC-GH4. Compared to it's predecessor the GH5 offers: sensor Image Stabilization, improved focusing performance, preset focus racking, improved menus, smarter sensor area utilization, lower noise, vectorscope & waveform display, increased finder & screen resolution. In early 2018 Panasonic introduced the DMC-GH5s which forgoes sensor image stabilization and uses a dual readout 10MP sensor but offers higher framerates at DCI resolution and timecode-in.
