The compact Sigma 24-70mm f/3.5-5.6 Aspherical HF covers focal lengths from wide angle to mid telephoto range. The 24-70mm produces excellent imaging capabilities and is very effective for general photography. It employs Hellical Focusing system (HF) for focus adjustment, which allows straight movement of front lens elements, resulting in elimination of the front lens rotation. Minimum focusing distance from the film plane to subject at all focal lengths is 15.7inch (40cm). Incorporating aspherical lens elements to minimize distortion, spherical aberration and astigmatism, results in high image contrast and resolution. The lens also features a depth of field scale that determines the subject's depth of field at a specific focal length and distance.
