The Sigma HA-11 bayonet lens hood with 46mm filter adapter is specifically designed for Sigma DP1 series cameras. The lens hood is designed to protect the lens from extraneous light and preserve the front lens element. Reducing the amount of non-essential light falling onto the front lens element increases the optical performance, thus producing a more saturated image. The filter adapter allows mounting of filters and accessories specific to the DP1 series.
