The Canon 20-35mm f/2.8L EF is a professional grade ultra-wide-angle zoom lens designed for Canon EF Mount SLR and DSLR cameras, ideal for landscape and architectural photography.

This ultra-wide-angle lens is built with an all-metal barrel, threads, and rubber-coated metal focus and zoom rings to give a highly durable body for use out in the field.  The lens utilizes 15 elements in 12 groups which include floating elements and an aspherical front element to reduce ghosting and flares.  The lens produces pleasing bokeh and accurate color rendition.  Being from Canon's L-series professional grade line of glass, this lens is sharp, even wide open.

Focus of the Canon 20-35mm is achieved by either autofocus, using the high-speed Micro motor, or by manual focus.  Focus mode can be selected by an on-lens switch.  With the constant f/2.8 maximum aperture, this bright lens can be used effectively in dim light.  With the internal motor and floating elements, the 20-35 can be zoomed and focused without changing length.
