Entry level EOS camera. This model is the same as the EOS 850, but the 850 does not have the built-in flash.
Program AE only with 4 modes: 1) Intelligent program AE, 2) DOF AE, 3) TTL program flash AE with built-in flash and Speedlite 160E, 4) A-TTL program flash with Speedlite 420EZ and 300EZ. 6 zone evaluative metering pattern. LED metering display.
Built-in flash (GN 39), 35mm lens coverage, auto fill flash possible, dedicated hot shoe. Shutter speed range 2 sec to 1/2000, flash sync at 1/125. Self timer.
Auto DX ISO range 25-3200, no manual override. Auto film advance (pre-wind) and rewind. Camera shake warning in non-flash modes.
Recommended flash: 160E, 420EZ, 300EZ. EOS 750QD version available with quartz digital calendar and clock.
