The Canon ST-E2 Speedlite Transmitter unit is a wireless autoflash transmitter that can control up to two Speedlite 550EX groups set as slaves. The transmitting range available on the ST-E2 is approximately 15 meters indoors, and 10 meters outdoors. The operations that can be transmitted through wireless control are E-TTL autoflash, High-speed sync, FE lock, Flash Exposure Compensation, Manual flash, and multi-flash firing.
