The Leica 28-35-50mm f/4 Tri-Elmar-M is a medium angle variable focal length lens for Leica M-Mount rangefinder cameras.  With three focal lengths in one compact package this Tri-Elmar provides the functionality and convenience of a zoom along with the assurance of shooting on optics that are truly optimized to the maximum extent.

The 28-35-50 Tri-Elmar optical design was Leica's first to incorporate the three most common lengths in one high-performing general-purpose lens for M-mount cameras.  Originally manufactured with a 55mm filter ring the mechanicals were later updated to this newer design which accepts 49mm filters.  Later on Leica produced an ultra-wide 16-18-21mm Tri-Elmar as well.

The rugged all-metal barrel on the Leica 28-35-50mm was designed with two aspherical lenses in two groups to produce sharp images with minimal distortion and gorgeous color rendering; making it ideal for street and general photography.  The design keeps the lens compact at just 67.8mm (2.7in) and 340g (12oz), so there is minimal obstruction when looking through the view finder.

Choose between 28, 35 or 50mm with by twist and clicking the on-barrel focal ring to your desired length.  The lens offers a maximum f/4 aperture and minimum focus distance of 1m (3.3ft) across all focal lengths.
