When a 35mm lens is not quite wide enough and a 24mm lens stretches the edges a bit too much, the Leica Elmarit 28mm f2.8 is there to put things in proper perspective. Sharpness is constant throughout, even at wide open. Useful for street scenes, landscapes, travel scenics and candids, it has remarkable detail holding capabilities in the closer focusing ranges. Excellent contrast and resolving power and performs well in backlit or strong light source situations.
