Introduced December 2003, Lecia revealed Digilux 2 digital camera. The Digilux 2 offers remarkable image quality, quick focusing, and fast zoom with easy operation. It employs 5-megapixel CCD image sensor, 2.5" LCD monitor that is visible in direct sunlight, electronic viewfinder, high-speed 1/4000th second shutter, and 2.7 fps burst shooting.
Lecia has coupled Digilux 2 with Leica DC Vario-Summicron 3.2x zoom lens constructed of 13 elements in 10 groups with an 28-90mm equivalent focal length range. Its minimum focusing distance range from 60cm to infinity in autofocus and 30cm to infinity in macro. Leica's magnesium alloy box like design of the Digilux 2 displays Leica traditional film-style camera. The Digilux 2 comforms to your hand providing a respective amount of grip and comfort to the user.
